Kaitlin Butts has released Hello, Honky Tonk, a new album that turns the people and stories of a neighborhood bar into a country music world of their own.

The 14-track record arrived October 30 through Republic Records. Produced by Tofer Brown, it is Butts’ fourth studio album.

A new video for “The Bartender” introduces the project’s theatrical approach. The song was written by Butts, Brown and Natalie Hemby, with backing vocals from Brothers Osborne’s TJ Osborne.

According to Republic’s release announcement, Butts envisioned the album as a collection of connected characters and scenes, with a larger mini-musical project still to come.
