Arizona in general boasts of many Country Bars . They aren't always huge like you might get in places like Texas. But, over the years we have seen many come and go. Some simply changed hands and some closed and vanished from sight... Now ghosts in our memories, all that sometimes remains is the memory of the times we all danced to live Music in these bars and Honky-Tonks .
In late 2018 we put to a vote on Facebook what everyone's favorite places are today. Which brings me to the point of today's story. That Bar was Tom Ryan's Saloon in Chandler Arizona. Tom Ryan's has the largest dance floor in Chandler and completely gives off the gritty, rustic, honky-tonk feel. It's most noticeable features in the Bar would be the Cattle Skull above the beer taps, and the iconic American Flag behind the stage. As of late June, they even have a decent sized menu of tasty bites for you try... From Chicken Strips and quesadillas to salads.
Tom Ryan's has an amazingly friendly staff behind the Bar ... They will get what you want every time and with a smile. I can honestly say that in addition to other venues in the area ( Bourbon Jack's included), a crew of awesome and equally friendly door staff. Guaranteed to shake your hand with a smile when you walk in. Tom Ryan's currently sponsors a team on regional dart league that travels to many states. That being said there are several dart machines with spot lighting above each one.
This Bar hosts many fund raisers, including the Vegas Benefit a couple of years ago which raised a large sum of money that was sent to Clark Country, Nevada for the victims of the tragic event that occurred at the 2017 Route 91 Festival in Las Vegas. Tom Ryan's is a local favorite here in Chandler and surrounding cities. Country Road Entertainment gives them a big thumbs up and looks forward to many years to come.
