If you read our last article you would know that Jason Judd lead guitar from the Damn Band has been performing with Brad Maitland a lot lately.  Is that a bad thing? Depends on your perspective.  However, over the years you’ll witness changes and shakes ups in the business.  In this case Country Road Entertainment feels that this is one that work works for everyone.Nathan Dean & The Damn Band

Jason has decided to retire from the road.  For some background... Several months ago he packed up and left on the summer tour as he had done many times before.  However, in this case... There was an emergency that brought him home urgently.   Since then he has opted to continue performing, however remaining close to home.  Coming off the road didn’t seem to be an easy decision.  It truly showed after my last talk with Jason showed a man with a tough decision

So where does that bring up to now?  Well Jason will be gigging with Nathan Dean and The Damn Band here and there as needed locally.

Which brings us to the official announcement...  Kody Rain, guitarist from The Phoenix, Arizona area will be taking that spot. If you have seen Kody perform, we assure you that he is an amazing lead guitarist as well...  Not to mention singer and song writer.

I have personally known Kody for some time now.  He is quite talented and even my kids have enjoyed seeing him many times on Sundays during the Jelly Jam at Bourbon Jacks on Sundays.   My daughter has even performed as vocalist with him at the jam at time or two and he has always been very nice to the kids.  He has excellent stage presence and always has a smile while on stage. I’m sure there are many of you that have seen him perform around Valley at places like Whiskey Row or Good Time Charli’s, and that’s barely scratching the surface...

We wish Kody the best a luck with the Damn Band as well as Jason Judd with Brad Maitland along with his business Sharper Point Signs.
