On August 1st, 1984, John Goodhue directed a video that decades later would still be watched and the song will still be iconic. That video ("All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight") featured artists like; Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, Chong and several other celebrities at a party thrown by Hank Williams Jr at the end of the video.
At the end of the video it would show a ghost Cadillac that flies into the night sky, referencing that his father, Hank Williams , Sr. had previously died while in a Cadillac. The video was the first ever to win the CMA Music Video of the year. It would be released in October and become an instant hit amongst fans.
